Steve was not a typical recruit for our business. He’s had a 6 year career in the residential building industry and ran his own sales business for a further 4 years.
The skills and experience Steve gained on a number of fronts made him unique, as it’s rare to find anyone with this depth of industry and building knowledge, coupled with genuine customer service and communication skills.
It’s fair to say, Steve has found his calling in real estate and is thriving in his role as our dedicated Leasing Consultant.
In addition to his professional background, Steve played WAFL football for 6 years and his appetite for hard work and discipline is evident in virtually everything thing he does. The amount of properties he’s leased in his first year has been nothing short of extraordinary.
As Director Josh Roberts said of him, “It’s doing the little things really well everyday that counts, and that’s exactly what Steve is doing”.
The hard work and discipline is now being complimented by great market knowledge and experience, having now preformed hundreds of rental inspections, dealt with thousands of potential tenants and negotiated hundreds of lease applications.
Steve understands the market and how to generate enquiry on property, but also has strong sales acumen, making him extremely effective at leasing. He can speak honestly and openly to his landlords about the process and the progress of the campaigns and can negotiate price, terms and conditions as well as anyone we’ve seen.
He’s a real asset to our business and those wanting to lease their property.
